NEC releasing MEDIAS E-04C, 7.7 mm Android smartphone through DoCoMo

nec medias N 04c android 300x123 NEC releasing MEDIAS E 04C, 7.7 mm Android smartphone through DoCoMo  One of the parameters by which manufacturers of smartphones have been competing is the thickness of the housing of their branded phones. Thinner the model, the better, as they say, and consumers are in no hurry to dissuade these beliefs. NEC has been actively preparing for triumphantly release thin smartphone MEDIAS E-04C – 7.7 mm, reports Akihabaranews. Gadget with difficult to remember name without any problems has left behind the flagship of South Korean company Samsung that has a thickness of 8.49 inch. Sony Ericsson’s Xperia Arc with thickness 8.9-mm is far behind to smartphone from NEC.
Despite its more than modest size MEDIAS E-04C has been stuffed with chip NFC, and even digital TV tuner and 4-inch display. It must be recalled that SE Xperia Arc does not have NFC chip and it is because engineers of the company did not want a too cumbersome smartphone. But designers at NEC seem to have succeeded in improving the functionality and decreasing the dimensions of their new gadget.
NEC MEDIAS E-04C is releasing on February 24, and of course it is now only for consumers in Japan. The smartphone runs Android 2.2 Froyo and will be offered by the mobile operator NTT DoCoMo. The price and date of international debut have not yet been declared.
