Novitec Rosso to Unveil Refined Ferrari 599 GTO at Geneva

Novitec Rosso, a company that deals with tuning for the sports , will present a more powerful and sportier version of the Ferrari 599 GTO at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show. The two-seater car is equipped with the new, extremely light Novitec Rosso forged wheels to improve the power-to-weight ratio and for even more dynamic handling.
The company noted that its engine specialists developed a more powerful version of the proven twin-compressor six-liter four-valve V12 engine for the sport version of the Ferrari 599. Further, the company also optimized both high-performance superchargers, driven by a cogged V-belt and lubricated by a dedicated oil circuit.
The Stetten, Germany based company has incorporated large water-to-air intercooler that is essential for maximum power yield and healthy engine temperatures. The modified sports  features a stainless-steel high-performance exhaust system that ensures unimpeded exhaust-gas flow. This exhaust system, which features four black-coated tailpipes with diameters of 90 millimeters, also provides drivers the opportunity to select different exhaust notes.
This super sports car can generate a maximum power output of 888 hp at 8,400 rpm with a peak torque that increases by 242 Nm to 862 Nm at 6,600 rpm. This powerful engine when mated with a six-speed F1 transmission coupe can sprint 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.2 seconds and to 200 km/h in just 9.1 seconds with a pop speed of more than 340 km/h.
The powerful version of Ferrari 599 GTO will come with silver special paint with yellow cross stripe and white patches for the starting number is reminiscence to the Ferrari 250 GTO racing car. Upon customer request Novitec Rosso also offers exclusive interior options in any desired leather or Alcantara color for the lightweight-construction Ferrari.
