Considering this is my 2nd Samsung Device review, it is also the best one! The Samsung Galaxy S! Is one of the best smart phones I’ve ever used in my life, from Android OS to Swype texting, this phone has some amazing features, and is easily an iPhone 4 competitor.
The device runs Android OS 2.2, and is super stylish with it’s Amoled Screen and up to 7 home screens.
The phone has amazing Web Browsing, Applications and Music/Video Playback.
The phone has a 5MP camera, but unfortunately no flash, which is a let down considering most phones have flash these days.
The device is the first phone to introduce “Swype” texting, here is a link to see a demo of it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nS-3KhOCJyA
Swype texting is very convenient when it comes to quick texters, if you don’t like the default keyboard layout.
The app store on the device is called the Android Market, which is used on all the other Android OS devices, the market does have quite a few apps, but not close to the amount of the apps on the Apple App Store.
The phone has good specks, including 3G WiFi, Bluetooth, HSPDA, Internet Tethering, and decent expandable memory, if you use up the 8 or 16GB capacity already installed on the phone.
I am going to say that the Samsung Galaxy S! is one of the best phones that I’ve ever used, extremely quick, and very convenient with Swype texting, and very good Android Apps.
I am going to give the phone a 7.5/10, the downsides are the plastic feel on the back, it feels like if you where to drop it, it would snap.
All on all, it is a GREAT android device.
