Sony S2 leaked: dual-screened Android tablet

Sony S2 It looks like Sony are planning to roll out multiple tablets this year, as its latest bizarre concept has spilled to the web.
Following the leak of the Sony S1 last week, an unusual “wrap” designed Honeycomb slate, the company’s second Android tablet has hit the technology blogosphere. Just when we thought Sony’s designers couldn’t go any more…well, crazy, the S2 appears to be a dual-screened “clamshell” tablet, resembling a cylindrical flask when closed. Interesting.
According to spies over at Engadget, the Sony S2 will feature two 5.2 inch displays, powered by NVIDIA’s dual-core Tegra 2 processor. It will also pack 3G and WiFi connectivity and a rear-facing camera, wherever it’s “rear” may be. They also reveal that the device will display a video and picture navigation menu on one half of the clamshell with the selected content blown-up to fill the screen of the other.
The dual-screened tablet is rumoured to be hitting Europe in time for Christmas, with a £590 price tag.
