LG introduces World Cup themed Optimus One

Now that the fever of World Cup 2011 is in the air, LG thought it to be the right moment to introduce its latest handset, Optimus One into the market. The limited edition version reflects the tone and mood of the World Cup with its lustrous World Cup logo on the flip portion.
The gadget boasts of intricate design embedded in advanced technology. Features added on the phone speak of its contemporariness and redefines the concept of technical wonders. The gizmo operates on Android 2.2 and has an extremely easy-to-use interface.
Another striking feature of the latest version is that it allows easy online accessibility. Users can now access Gmail, Google Maps, YouTube and GTalk by signing up just once. This is possible if the users have a coordinated Google account. The device boasts of high memory capacity up to 2 GB and comes with a 2 megapixel camera. The phone also offers EDGE, GRPS and threaded messages.
Cricket fans will have to be quick in grabbing a unit of the gadget as LG has rolled out merely 1,000 handsets. This mobile phone is available in only eight prominent cities across India.
The Optimus One is priced at a considerably reasonable rate of Rs. 12,990. The rate may sound justifiable when compared against the facilities the device offers. If the features appeal you and the World Cup is having huge impact on you, you may like to try it out.
