The Nokia X1-00 has a 1.8-inch display supporting 128x160 pixel resolution and 65,000 colors. Pre-loaded with 20 colorful themes, the X1-00 also comes with five pre-loaded games (which might vary for different regions). At the back panel lies a huge speaker that is capable of screaming music at 106phon (a phon is a measure of perceived loudness). Nokia claims that one can hear music from the phone clearly even at places with high ambient sound levels. However, the phone does not have a camera.
Its flat front panel features three dedicated music buttons, a sign of X series handset, and single-key playlist creator. The internal music player is capable of playing and shuffling your favorite music numbers. One can add up to 16GB microSD card to beef up the storage capacity. There's a dedicated torch at the top of the handset which makes it quite handy in places where power-cut is a normal routine or even when you're out for an adventure in the woods.
Sporting Symbian 30 mobile operating system, this entry-level device can hold up to five phonebooks which you can use to create different groups. Nokia X1-00 has a standby battery life of 61 days and weighs 91 grams.
Nokia plans to ship the X1-00 for selected markets from early April at a cost or 34 Euros ($47) which amounts to about Rs. 2,125 approx.
