The big brother to the 7-inch Samsung Galaxy Tab is still moving along right on schedule according to a new report out of Korea. The 10.1-inch Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 was recently called “inadequate” compared to the new Apple iPad 2 by a VP at Samsung, the effort today by Samsung was to put a halt in a way to any rumors that the company would be delaying the tablet to make any last minute adjustments like the rogue VP had implied earlier.Previously at the announcement of the 10.1-inch Android 3.0 tablet in question, Samsung stated they would launch the tablet this month, March 2011, in Asia and Europe. However when Samsung made comments to the press today they didn’t state when the Galaxy Tab 10.1 would start shipping.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 features a 10.1-inch WXGA (1280×800 resolution) LCD, Android 3.0 Honeycomb, 1GHz Nvidia Tegra 2 dual-core SoC, dual cameras (2MP front, 8MP rear w/ LED Flash) w/ Full HD 1080p video recording @ 24fps, USB 2.0 port, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR, stereo speakers, headphone jack, 16/32 GB storage options, 10.9mm thin, 599g weight and a 6860mAh rechargeable battery.
