LG E700 Windows Phone 7 Smartphone Profile Leaked; Mango Update a Possibility

This could be the first Windows Phone 7 device to use the Mango update.  A leaked profile of the LG E700 makes us think that the device is almost ready for roll out. The handset looks strikingly similar to the Optimus 7 (the E900). That also makes us strongly believe that the upcoming device may be sequel to Optimus 7 (pictured).

Speaking of the leaked profile, the image we are looking at shows it as using Internet Explorer 9, whose web engine will soon be coming. It is also being speculated that the lower numbering scheme indicates that more economical phone is on its way.
However, for the time being, we have only scarce details regarding the hardware used. Based on the image, we assume that the device would turn up with a 480×800 screen resolution, the same as that of its predecessor.
It is also expected that the new device would feature an 800MHz or 1GHz second-generation Snapdragon processor, based on Microsoft’s updated chassis guidelines for WP7 hardware. This, we believe, would offer high competitive performance.
LG is least expected to bring in more changes for the rest of the features of phone. That means the forthcoming device will come featured with the same five-megapixel camera and 16GB of storage.
The new Mango update will not turn up until fall, we suppose. That makes us think that the launch date of the device could be determined by the arrival of Mango. Stay tuned.
