As you’re sure to know just about every major wireless carrier here in the United States is rolling out a high speed 4G mobile network in one form or another. Verizon, in particular, has been generating a ton of buzz with their 4G LTE network largely thanks to the HTC Thunderbolt which, quite obviously, features connectivity for the high speed network.
However, Verizon also has another device coming to market with the same 4G connectivity in the form of the Samsung DROID Charge. This device features a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED display, 1GHz processor, 8 megapixel rear facing camera, 1.3 megapixel camera and Google’s Android ‘Froyo’ 2.2. Unfortunately, it also features a quite high price tag of $299.99 straight from Verizon. Luckily, Walmart seems to be cutting those looking to pick the device up a deal as they have just put the DROID Charge up for pre-order at $249.99.
